Focusrite have just announce another exciting addition to their highly lauded Red interface range. An ultra low latency, 8 mic pre, thunderbolt interface that can be expanded through two ADAT ports for 16 additional channels or input and output. On top of this it's fully Dante equipped so can be expanded even further over an ethernet cable. This interface will do the job for any set up you currently have and one you'll no doubt be expanding in the future. Here's a pic of the inputs on the back:
As you can see you have 2 thunderbolt connections, TRS 1/4" monitor outputs, world cock and loop sync, and two headphone outputs on the front. On top of this you get some bundled software from Softube (Time & Tone Bundle) and Focusrite (Red Suite) and you'll be signed up to Focusrite's Plug in Collective, where they recently gave away a really great Eventide Stereo Room plugin entirely for free!
